When someone visits our website we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
Throughout the website we have various enquiry forms, when someone completes a form we ask for a name, email address and telephone number, this allows us to reply to enquiries in a helpful and timely manner. We will not share this information with any third party.
These enquiries are transmitted via email to our team, who will review your enquiry and forward to the most relevant person. When an enquiry has been dealt with this email is deleted, if you go on to become a customer of Balbirnie House Hotel, you will be provided with further details on how we use your personal data.
When requesting our wedding pack, we ask for your name, phone number & email address. Following a submission are wedding team will send you 1 email asking about your wedding preparations and if we can support you in any further way. If you do not respond to this email, we will not follow-up in any way.

We use Microsoft Exchange Online as our email provider, if you choose to send us an email the details you include will be held securely by Microsoft. Please be aware that you have a responsibility to ensure that any email you send to us is within the bounds of the law.
When you call Balbirnie House Hotel, we advise all callers that we use a system to record all calls, these recordings are used solely for the purpose of staff training and evaluating the quality of our service. These recordings are stored for a period of 1 year after which they are deleted.
