Getting to Balbirnie

“Balbirnie House is easily accessible with or without a car. I would thoroughly recommend taking the First ScotRail train – just 45 minutes from Edinburgh Waverley to Markinch station. By arrangement, a taxi will be there to collect you and whisk you to the hotel 5 minutes away. Balbirnie is a wonderful blend of gracious classic architecture and homely comforts. The tranquil garden setting, beautifully decorated bedrooms and gourmet dining all combine to offer a relaxing haven of peace and quiet – with all the treasures of the Kingdom of Fife to explore on the doorstep.”
